Mum and Kids Craft Club at The Crafty Egg in Church Road
Monthly craft club to connect with other mums in your area, chat with like minded people, focus on yourself and unleash your creativity. Each month you will be immersed into a new creative project and at the end of the workshop you’ll have something unique to take home with you and something that you actually want to keep!
Tuesday 29th April 10.30am-12pm - Tote Bag Printing
For this workshop you will use a range of fabric paints and stamps (wooden/rubber and vegetable - YES vegetables) to stamp patterns onto your tote bag. This is a really fun workshop to create a brilliant everyday tote bag with a big splash of colour! The tote bags will dry in time for the end of the workshop but will need to be ironed for 4-5 minutes so that the paint becomes permanent. Kids over 5 can create their own tote bag and creative children under 5 can get involved with helping you or you can pay a small extra fee of £2 for them to have their own tote bag -payable at the event! Spaces are limited so advanced booking is required for this one!
Tuesday 13th May 10.30am-12pm - Watercolour, Fine Point Pen and Button Art
For the workshop you will create your choice of unique family portraits, rainbow flower gardens, jellyfish seascapes or Bristol hot air balloons using fine point pens, watercolour paints and buttons. You will be able to take home one framed print per family and hopefully many more pieces of button art!
Tuesday 10th June 10.30am-12pm - Tie Dye Babygros and T-Shirts
For this workshop you will learn how to tie-dye, exploring different techniques and using a variety of colours to make some unique and special clothes for your little one. One babygro or t-shirt is included (up to 3 years) and extras can be brought on the day for £5 each. If your little one is over 3 years you are welcome to bring an item from home to tie-dye!
Tuesday 24th June 10.30am-12pm - Pom Pom Garlands
For this workshop you will learn how to make perfect Pom Poms and create a unique and colourful Pom Pom garland for your home!
The venue is pram accessible and we welcome you with kids up to 4 years old for free and kids 5+ at a small additional charge.
Group discounts are available so bring gather your mummy group and come and enjoy crafting at The Crafty Egg.
